Duncan oversees field operations for Predator Free South Westland, along with other predator free projects led by ZIP.
After graduating with a degree in Ecology from Canterbury University, Duncan joined the Department of Conservation. For the majority of his time working for DOC, Duncan was based at Franz Josef working on the Rowi (Ōkārito Brown Kiwi) Recovery Project.
Duncan is currently based in Hokitika, but spends a large proportion of his time in the field, keeping him grounded in the work and involved in the progressive thinking that is the hallmark of ZIP’s operations.
